Sushi!

Sushi Pillows

The pattern is based on one from a "Crochet a Day" calendar a friend gave me. The yarn was random stuff that I had around the house, though I did use Lion Brand Homespun in Hepplewhite for the rice and Lion Brand Chenille in Black and Forest Green for the seaweed.

I Love Sushi! When I saw this pattern I just had to make it. I didn't use a proper foam pillow fill for the sushi roll so its a bit lumpier than intended. Both of these pillows were really easy and fast to make, are super soft and great decorations. I really love the use of the transparent orange beads to represent the roe on the roll. :)
